Tynemouth is grateful to all our supporters and sponsors, large and small. Our club thrives thanks to the support of individuals, businesses and organizations that share our passion for rowing and community engagement. Through their generosity, we can maintain our equipment, improve our facilities, host exciting events, and provide opportunities for all to enjoy the sport we love. Each sponsor plays a vital role in helping us achieve our goals, and we are proud to showcase them here.
Whether you’re interested in joining our network of supporters or learning more about the businesses that back us, this page highlights the partnerships that help Tynemouth Rowing Club flourish.

Our club is growing, changing and adapting, responding to the needs and ambitions of our members, with more change still to come. The benefits of sponsorship to us are huge:
> It helps to keep membership costs low, ensuring TRC can continue to keep rowing as accessible as possible and ensuring money is not a barrier to participation
> It helps to fund the purchase of new equipment or the repair, refurbishment and maintenance of old equipment, ensuring the availability of boats, blades, or rowing machines does not become a limiting factor on our membership
> It helps to improve our safety equipment, ensuring all members can participate safely in our exciting sport
All of this helps to support our mission to foster an open and friendly community where everyone, from complete novices to experienced, high-performance athletes, is welcomed and supported to enjoy the sport we all love.
In return, a sponsor will:
> Gain local, regional, national and even international visibility through branding at the club and rowing events, inclusion in promotional literature, and recognition on the club’s social media platforms (nearly 1000 followers across Instagram and Facebook) and website
> Benefit from the positive association with rowing as a sport, and contributing to the health, wellbeing and success of the North East coastal rowing community - current and future!
> Benefit from the positive association with the only coastal sculling club in the North East - and one with a growing national and even international profile
