Tynemouth Rowing Club Established 1867 :: Rowing Club History1867 Tynemouth Rowing Club Formed Tynemouth Rowing Club carries on a proud tradition of rowing since 1867 1902 King Edward VII Celebration Dinner The King Edward VII Celebration Dinner was held at Three Tuns Hotel in Durham held in June 1902, although the coronation was postponed until 9th August due to illness. Here is the outer and inner of the Dinner Menu - click here for full size image Pre 2000 Facility Improvements Club house redevelopments included a bar and social area, with both both ladies & gents toilets and showers facilities. The boat house has a small gym which includes 4 rowing machines. 2000 To Present Day More recently the Club purchased 5 new recreational boats from Burgashell with the help of a grant from Sport England and assistance from the Amateur Rowing Association.
